The Next "King of the Roundies"?
Critical Mass
Tom Dwelle, Pilot
2000 National Championship Air Races

Hi there Race Fans and Fellow Addicts,
There is something very exciting going on in the world of Unlimited Air Racing!
An Aircraft that has been under development for a number of years is on the brink
of becoming the next National Champion. First seen at Reno as "Blind Man's Bluff",
Critical Mass has finally been unleashed towards her true potential by the current
owners, the Dwelle family. With Tom in the cockpit, and son Ken as Crew Chief and
head everything else guy, CM, Race #10, had a comprehensive upgrade in the engine
department, and with some hard work by the crew, came to R2k ready to Race. Not to
be pushed to her full limitations, the aircraft performed flawlessly in the racing
Sunday in the Gold Championship Race. They came in second, (admittedly by default)
with reported power to spare. With Rare Bear out for 2000, this beautiful Aircraft
became known to some as "The Great Round Hope". She just might be. The Team will be
working hard to prepare for R2k.1, (Reno 2001), for sure.

Thanks once again for visiting.
Sincerely,
The Air Race Addict
