"Voodoo"
Matt Jackson, Pilot
2000 National Championship Air Races

Hi there Race Fans and Fellow Addicts,
Here we are again at the 2000 Reno National Championship Air Races. I have alot
of photos to share with you throughout the next 10 months, and this one is for
this week. The obvious here is that it is a picture of Voodoo, Race #5. What I
was trying to capture here was the fine wax job, the Voodoo moniker, and the
really bright color. Voodoo showed up at the "99" version of the Air Races. The
team suffered several mechanical setbacks, but these were overcome and Team Voodoo
came to R2k with a reliable and pretty fast entry. The aircraft also came to Reno
in 1999 with probably the most radical paint scheme seen at Reno in many years.
The latest news from the vine is that she is up for sale by the owner Bob Button.
It remains to be seen if the aircraft will be sold. Hopefully, if the sale were
to occur, the new owner will be Race oriented and bring her back. The potential
in this aircraft and Team is great. Time will tell.

Thanks once again for visiting.
Sincerely,
The Air Race Addict
